Clemson, and OSU in the postseason since FSU was good?

playoffs. Most years, there are only two or three elite teams. Does the author honestly think A&M would have performed better? Cincinnati? Georgia? Florida might have in a rematch but they lost three games. He ignores the fact that this year, there were three teams that obviously “belonged” and ND was arguably the best of the rest.

Fresher legs is a thing. The wear and tear that came with playing an 11 game schedule probably hindered Clemson to some extent. At the same time, if ND played Bama ten times they probably lose nine to ten times. If all things were equal, I don’t think you could say the same about Clemson and OSU.

Totally unfair advantage, IMO. On the flip side, OSU and the B1G took advantage of the situation. Good for them.
