I remember back when it was still CNN / SI, and they had an excellent website, chock full of details that were very easy to navigate.
They even had their own news channel on TV for a while, and they had a pretty good crew of reporters. Believe it or not, I actually think Keith Olbermann (back in those days) was a decent sports reporter.
Now, it's an utter piece of garbage.
and SI both invited in a bunch of political views and it sunk them.

Decisiveness and accuracy can bridge the gap of any type of arm strength.

has one win against a top 10 team and, for the most part, regressed while at ND. I'll give him his wins, but if you're happy with 10 win seasons that consistently include not just defeats but blowouts to higher ranked teams, we'll have to agree to disagree.
Thrived is generous...
le for yards. That hardly makes one special.
Nonsense.

up until the Va Tech game last year. Whether he regressed because of coaching and play calling is open for debate, but I think his 2018 campaign was his best.

the far hash or deep out throws, he doesn't see his backside as well as he sees what is happening in front of him and to his throwing arm side.“ perfect for Big Games tutelage....

Interesting comments about a guy who has ran a 4.21 and 4.35 shuttle the former being the fastest ever for a QB during testing and a 4.73 40...Not bad

He can run a little.

Pyne has a lot more than the little bit that we have seen.
I will say that our incoming WR’s Will be a big upgrade.

He has more experience then the rest of the ND QB's combined. Not a surprise, given Kelly's track record of sitting backups, even in the rare blowout.
He started an entire season (2019), started in the B10 Title Game (2019), and started in the Rose Bowl.
My point was that we are in for a downgrade at QB with this guy (who is still a very good and valuable acquisition). And my other point is that with a better QB, we still didn't have enough yet.
We need a guy with an arm and who is mobile. They are rare, but this is ND, and we should be able to find one. We can't win it all with a game manager - Book was as good of a manager as your ever going to see in college, but that isn't what is bringing home the trophy these days.
With Coan at least we have a QB who won't shit his pants at FSU next September.
Hopefully Buchner is the golden goose we need at QB. Kelly has failed at that for over a decade, for one reason or another.
