Someone asked you to clarify your question, which was no doubt pretty poorly worded.

A training table for athletes instead of eating in the dining halls.
Facility Upgrades
Game day experience changes (music, video board, etc. I personally despise the artificial turf, but he got that through too.)
Big increase in budget for staff. (I don’t have the precise numbers, but think of all the new staff position. Seems like the size of the organization at least doubled.)
crowd reacting to the Joumbotron and catching the replay booth's attention.
the recruiting front. His biggest plus was getting the most out of the players he landed. Getting to the final 4 twice with talent ranked about 11-15 was an excellent achievement. The lack of recruiting effort though prevented him from going further. Plus one big key mistake, Van Gorder. I thought his play calling was good and I thought he put his players in their best chance to win position. The game plan against Alabama in 2020 was not bad. It was to use Tommy Tremble more as a receiver because he knew Alabama was going to cover Mayer with two. We moved the ball early on them only to see Tremble go down when we got close to the end zone. Williams just missed breaking a screen pass later in the game that might have given us momentum, but Alabama could have beaten some pro teams that year. I'm looking at you Giants and Jets.
Oh I forgot about his terrible personality. But this was not personal.
Let's hope its not the abyss prior to him, or as much as he may be disliked, his legacy may grow depending on future results...Let's hope ND doesnt rue the day he left...
Fans question decisions, calls, etc but most of them don’t know much of anything or have any baseline for the decisions. Coaches make mistakes, lots of them. Dabo, Saban, Meyer included.
Where Kelly faulted was really two different areas:
1. His lack of recruiting effort. Not only was he lazy, but that trickles down to your staff. Kelly had a belief that he could get good enough guys, develop them, and then out scheme. That’s not how it works if you want titles. This could be a separate category, but this includes the QB position which was the Achilles heel of the era.
2. His loyalty to assistant coaches. He kept his guys too close, didn’t like to bring in outside guys and when he did it was obvious they had to spend more time adapting to Kelly’s way than bringing in their new/fresh ideas. This is the area Saban excels, which is they the game hasn’t passed “him” by.
He leveraged that into regular 10 win seasons. He didn’t win the big games or a NC, but he did more than the last several coaches at ND.
Faced 12 or so really big games, won 2 of them.
You nailed him!

Brian Kelly doesn't coach at Notre Dame anymore. Neither do any of the other guys mentioned above. It's over!!! Move on !!!
Okay. In the end he was an asshole and the relationship between he and the fan base was never ideal even in the best of times.
But there is a new coach here who hasn't even won a game yet and comes in with many unanswered questions.
Marcus Freeman seems like a stand up guy and a very good recruiter. But so was Gerry Faust. Hopefully, Freeman has what it takes to orchestrate a National Championship.
That is all I care about. But I guess it makes some people on this board feel better when they talk about Kelly like he's their ex-girlfriend who their calling a fat slut.
