seems as though they've fully embraced it...not as much a USC, but to the tune of 10+ players...while this doesn't excuse any preparation shortcomings by ND players and coaches, it does deserve consideration and discussion regarding colleges and universities' commitment to recruits, along with competitiveness.
btw, I took a peek at Appalachian State's TP usage as well as USC's...to say they've "Embraced" it, is a major understatement....ND has dabbled in it, too, but to a much lower degree...any comments?

who gashed us yesterday?
as the article illustrates (no pun intended) there are many unintended consequences showing up as a result of this decision by the NCAA...aside from the roster challenges, I was struck by this comment...
-----------------------
“Based on the data I’ve seen, it’s causing a lot of roster management issues and our student-athletes are quitting on their teammates,” Lyons says.
-----------------------
"Quitting on their teammates"...perhaps the most pernicious aspect of all.

They have multiple guys who came from power 5 teams on their roster. Perhaps they are better than we thought as fans. But it's not an excuse to shit the bed. They brought in talent, but by any measure we were the more talented team on the field and did not play like it.
better talent is a questionable statement. We got are ass handed to us
The guys we had out there were overall the much more highly ranked and touted prospects across the board. As I said, we didn't play like it. If it is really all about the talent only then coaches don't matter. It's the coaches job to get the most out of and develop the talent they recruit. Marshall is apparently doing a better job of that than Notre Dame is currently.
