Again, I may not be interpreting this correctly, but it seems there are just basic fundamentals not being employed.

Marcus Freeman knows nothing about offense and apparently Rees isn't what so many of us thought.
And I admit I may not have understood it correctly. They did mention play design but the gist of it was take what the defense gives you in terms of numbers, and that didn't happen.
Pointed out how many times they did the stupid check with me only to run the wrong play for the numbers.
Said if it was Buchner it would mean he was basically ignoring the sidelines so why would they have kept him in if not running what they told him to.
the numbers aren't right? That's basic stuff
the coaches (Rees?) are checking them into the play they want (often with under 10 seconds left on play clock). It's kinda some of the dumbest offensive football I've seen.
I've heard that with new QB's the coaches sometimes don't let them audible. I've also wondered who is doing the line calls. If it is Buchner for that and he is making mistakes then the line is paying for them, that could be what he alluded to when he said it was his fault.
The truly frustrating part is that they had checks to the sideline when the box was stacked and STILL ran into it. That's not players, that's coaching. Maybe they were playing a game and thought that they could get them to bail from the look they were showing by using the sideline check, but it didn't seem to ever work.
If true this is pathetic
