I am sure he is well aware that ND may have one of the most geographically diverse student populations in the country. How can anyone posting in this forum challenge him unless you know more about the man and how he conducts himself and his classes. Do any of you know if he does not restrict enrollment into his classes to only those students who travel from their homes across the country, and the globe, by foot or on bicycles to South Bend? How do you know if he is not submitting his resignation at this very moment to seek a position at a local high school or small community college?
Or maybe he’s one of those John Kerry fellows whose presence is so enlightening and important it doesn’t matter how much carbon is utilized to arrange to be in his presence.
I mean, come on man ….

He is of zero consequence, and I would guess that the average undergraduate chemistry major at ND has a much greater knowledge of science.
His attitude reminds me of all of the liberal arts professors at Duke University who were part of the "gang of 88" that ignorantly jumped on the innocent men of the Duke lacrosse team.

Needed to pay for overpriced tuition?? These woke jackholes have opinions on everything but what impacts their schools and students. Taxpayers are the ones subsidizing corrupt institutions, so where have the Faculty Unions doing about that? Fuck em all for how they messed up my student's lives...

I will believe he cares about the climate when he calls for shutting down the carbon footprint created by social media.
