Just wondering why ND couldn't have someone at the Mater Dei vs Bosco game. Over 70 division 1 prospects playing in that game. USC head coach Lincoln Riley was there, on the sidelines before the game, smooching with the Mater Dei coach Rollinson. There were other college scouts there but I don't have a list. Rollinson is a USC grad so he "encourages' players to go to USC, which is his right (of course he sent his daughter to ND). And the few players from Mater Dei who have gone on to Notre Dame recently were not spectacular, although I think in some cases they just weren't really developed. Southern California is a hot-bed of talent and Mater Dei and Bosco are two notable places where much of that talent goes. Just don't know why ND doesn't visit those schools more often.
One in ten GREAT players from those schools that has grades goes elsewhere.
