I'm just referring to the tenure track / tenured professors.
They're generally busy trying to secure their own funding, or increase their own prestige, and most of them aren't going to have an opinion about the athletic teams one way or the other.
Some of the above may occasionally throw some token support the teams' ways just to keep up some appearances, but other than that, they're not going to really care.
The same thing would certainly occur at Michigan, tOSU, Stanford, etc.
