I’m really not trying to beat a dead horse, but today’s presser was just awful. Appreciate Marcus’ honesty, but my God, you can’t admit to some of this stuff.
Particularly, when referencing the losses to Ohio State and Marshall, he admitted things were moving fast, he didn’t know what was happening, and said “woof, I was struggling…..”
With the Jayden Thomas reverse, admitted they knew they didn’t have the right look from the defense, and as the play clock was winding down, I guess Tommy was telling him in the headset they didn’t have the right look and needed to call timeout or check out of the play. Sounds like panic ensued, everyone froze, and nobody called a timeout
He doubled (maybe even tripled) down on his support of Tommy and says the right plays are being called.
Or how about, “we’ve spent the past 48 hours trying to figure out what the heck happened” regarding Saturday nights loss to Stanford.
This is alarming. Am I overreacting?
We saw it with his sideline demeanor and now he's verbalized it, all those who said he was ready for this were flat out wrong.

really get better going along and win? Do liberals all root for things to get worse so they can feel happy?

It's just delaying the inevitable keeping him on...

The answer to your non football question is no. I want ND football to succeed each and every week and while obviously frustrated, I am not looking for further disasters just to see some coach get fired.
