Tommy Rees is a dog shit OC.

But at this point there's real problems. Too far into the season for that to be an excuse. Seriously no release routes? The failure of the run game stems from the failures of the pass game to make them pay.
Honestly, Rees is horrible. He seems to have no memory from one game to the next and is incapable of mid game adjustments.
Yes, there are Pyne problems but Pyne also scored 35 pts in the first half.
Where was the two-back set we ran against Clemson with Estime and Tyree? Rees knows his 7 plays and it’s impossible to crack that rotation it seems.

I think Rees is an average OC, but Pyne left a lot on the table yesterday. The overthrow to Mayer was a perfectly schemed play and Pyne just flat out missed him. There were also 3-4 check down, dump offs available that he missed which would have changed the course of drives. Rees and Pyne have to figure out what to do against the all out blitz because they didn't have a clue how to deal with it yesterday. I don't know if it's Pyne not being able to recognize the unblocked blitzer or Rees' lack of creating an audible situation. There were a couple times when a QB draw would have absolutely gashed those all out blitzes.
