Allowed them to March down the field and get a TD in 2.5 minutes. With the backup QB odds of them scoring a TD from the ten are probably 10 percent with your normal D and if they do will probably take them all 4 minutes. I HATE the prevent D because it changes the mindset of a defense from stopping a drive with zero points to managing a scoring drive. And it is easier for them to stop the clock with easy first downs and out of bounds plays. Even hated it against Clemson - you have got them stopped all game with zero points but then 4thQ go soft and allow two late TD drives.
