He's appeared in 2 games and you need him to be available for both USC and the bowl game.
Kids are going to play or leave. People aren’t going to wait 4-6 years just to get a shot. The game has changed.

Having that extra year of eligibility is valuable to the kid, whether he stays at his original school or hits the portal. A kid with 3 years of eligibility has more value to some potential transfer destination than a kid with 2 years of eligibility.
married to the idea of going to and finishing at a specific University. They go to play and the second it's clear they aren't going to play the leave because that's what the portal has allowed, free agency. This is much different than the past where you had to go down a division to play immediately (very few, very, very few want to do that). Or, where you have to sit out a year to go to a bigger school. This was also not desired by most.
With the portal it gives everyone a 1 year test and go. If they really want to play which based on numbers, most want to play.

would have offered that information. I admit I didn't know that, but you're still a liar. All you were concerned about was the weather, like somehow a freshman couldn't handle it. You're being disingenous.
I am stunned at the posters on some of the other boards who are complaining that Angeli did not come in the game to simply handoff to kill the clock. One of their big arguments is that Angeli could have come in and ran the regular offense to gain needed experience........yeah, that would be a fabulous idea to have him run the regular offense in a snow storm.
The other argument is that Angeli would never use the redshirt season at ND because he would never start at ND and would likely transfer in the future. That may be true, but the redshirt year would have value for Angeli, as he could play another year at his new school. Why take that redshirt away from the kid in order for him to take part in a few handoffs today.
