Yep, Bowen as well as 30% of Bama's class and quite a few of Colorado's players. It happens when you hop on the bandwagon just plainly make a decision for all the wrong reasons.

What we know:
1) as we all know, Bowen committed for about a year and a half verbally to ND.
2) The night before Signing Day, Bowen told coaches and staff that he was coming to ND on a zoom call.
3) Bowen told ND and fellow recruits that Wed AM that he was coming to ND again
4) He played the "hat game", but added in the comment "This never felt right", and momma was pissed

What is being reported from multiple sources:
5) Bowen reached out to ND coaches last night (as well as fellow recruits on social media) saying that he made a mistake and wanted back in.
6) Bowen's appeal was not received well by his fellow recruits which is key.
7) Bowen also reached out to OU telling them that he had made a mistake and that he wanted to be back with OU...timing not clear, but....
8) He was received well by OU coaches

What I know for sure:
9)This had to piss off fellow recruits to whom he lied. Such feelings on a teams can be toxic, esp when other players who worked hard may no longer be offered scholarships
10) The demand for Peyton Bowen in any NIL deal at ND will be about the same as the demand on this board for another LanceHarbor post. If NIL money is important to Peyton, then he won't likely be getting much love at ND anymore.

I Cannot remember the last recruit who played games on signing day who actually panned out to be worth the drama.
