Very Ian Book-esque. Won't be bad to have him on the roster but Buchner should beat him.

If that’s the case, ND is in real trouble.

Thread Level: 3

And if Buchner gets injured, we still have another guy that is a very serviceable FBS quarterback.

Why this move is great, we will find out if Buchner has that dog in him

If Buchner wins the job it will be mean he went and took it. If not, you have a QB you know won’t lose you games next year.

Will either one be better than 8-4?

That’s all that matters. Doesn’t matter that one is better than the other. Is either good enough to win the three tough games in the schedule next year and not shit the bed in 1-2 others

Ok, sure

I hope Rees puts together a game plan that works to his strengths, and not Tommy's idea of what it should be.

Why would a guy with his career stats come to ND to sit on the bench

No way Buchner starts over him. Buchner has proven nothing so far except he gets injured running all the time.

Thread Level: 3

Not so sure about that. Based on what I've seen of Buchner vs what I've seen of Hartman...

Hartman is currently the significantly superior overall QB.

Now if Buchner lives up to his max potential maybe then, but I'm basing only on what I've seen not on what's possible.

Buchnuts couldn't beat a drum. Throws the ball like a shotput and gets injured if u breathe on him.
