Panics a lot and runs from pocket before he needs to do so, always runs right (obviously limited to the left throwing),
and appears to be easily rattled.
Also, their OL is just not good.
I almost felt sorry for Shipley (stud) who had to try to do it all himself on offense.
On defense, their backfield is weak against the pass. I did feel sorry for their DL which is excellent and was having to make the tackles for their LBs much of the time.
This was a rather strange year. Uiagaleili didn't have a bad year (62% completion, 22 TD, 7 INT), but a few bad series made Dabo give him the quick hook.
To be fair, the talent at the other skill positions, outside of RB, isn't quite as good as Clemson has had in recent years, nor is their offensive line as good either. Their skill positions (except for RB, which is excellent) are above average, for sure, but they're not going to stick out like they did in 2020 when they had Rogers and Powell, both of whom could have been legit WR1's on any team out there.
This year, no receiver really stood out as a dominant WR1. Their best receiver, a true freshman in the way of Antonio Williams, barely eclipsed 600 yards. That's generally not a good thing when your best WR is a true frosh.
Their offensive line this year was average at best. Will Shipley, for his excellent stats this year, should have had much better ones.
