Happy at the results, but...
USC will still be ranked higher than we will.
I'm OK with not moving up another spot in the final rankings, if it means that USC and its hired mercenaries finish on a down note, though.

Exactly. 4 loses, 2 of which were to Stanford and Marshall ensures us a middling ranking at best.
One or two spots less middling means almost nothing. What did matter this season is we showed some toughness getting off the mat 3 times and the bowl win is a good springboard to next year.
