Props for TR will only happen if talent is developed and utilized properly. Next year will

With our RB’s, OL, TE, and this QB, I like our chances.
WR’s look to be upgraded significantly as well, and Id love to see Tyree move over to Avery Davis’ slot receiver position.
I worry about the oline coming into the season like they did the last 2 years.
Despite the talent, they inexplicably came into each season looking like 5 turnstiles. They got much better during each season, but 2 years in a row of being as bad as they were early (especially given the talent) is a huge concern.
Losing Josh Lugg will (hopefully) help (love the kid and he's a great rep for ND) because that guy still makes too many mistakes that let free runners into the backfield for a very experienced olineman.
Season statts with Navy, Tenn St, and Central Mich - gives them 3 gmes to get settled in

Marshall and Cal weren't exactly world beaters
and they made our oline look like they couldn't start for a high school team.

Freeman will have to fail pretty miserably over the next 2 years for that to happen in that time.
Unless he secures a NC and heads to the League...
Look at last year's offensive stats. He's a page 2 kinda guy.
He's not a top 25 OC, much less a candidate for a top head coaching job.

1 or 2 good years and he will get a lot of NFL HC “Rooney Rule” interviews-Jack knew this and has
a succession plan in place with Rees.
That doesn’t say much for the program that Rees is the succession plan
Pretty sad actually. Freeman has a long, long way to go to be NFL material.
