Notre Dame counting on a QB who turns over the ball six times in a quarter and gets himself sacked eight times as a fifth year senior in one game is surely a dire situation indeed. If he hasnt learned anything in five years what going to make the sixth year different..

long passer.
Odd
played. He had a lot of rust in the bowl game, overcame that rust during the game by still making some real good plays, and led the team to victory in the end. Bringing a team back after a bad mistake is the sign of a very good QB. I don't fault him for the tipped pass that got returned and was flukey and I like him trying to make a play on the other pass that got picked because it shows me his confidence. The last pick was inexcusable and horrible and also a horrible call after we were driving the ball down their throats.
though.

Fine with me if Buchner wins the job.
