creative things you can do with your hoarded talent, but don't actually try doing any of it in real games. Especially not with younger players because they don't know how to play the game the right way yet.
Yea, he likes to run speed up the middle on power plays and that simple minded slow delay. He runs the 230lb backs off tackle and to the outside instead, PURE GENIUS!!

It feels like a decade since his frosh year, when he made explosive plays with some semblance of consistency. While his touches haven't gone up, they probably would if he'd capitalize when he gets the ball. It hasn't happened.
he’s going to be the ball carrier and key on him. Rees needs to be more deceptive with the play calling. Unlike pass plays where he makes decent yds.

You see...his frosh year he was making plays...you mean to tell me 2yrs later he lost his vision?? Have you seen the run plays called then vs now??
You remember the run play Dexter Williams, Kyren Williams, and Tyree use to kill! Go back and watch even Prosise's year. The running game is so vanilla now. It has none of the creativity or juice it had just 2yrs ago.
The run game is a simple as the passing game is complicated.
The fact is that when he's had the ball on the edge or approaching the secondary or returning a kickoff, he hasn't made a play on his own. You can blame the "play call" all you want, but Diggs and Estime have both managed to do things in the open field numerous times.
I've heard Hartman being brought in can allow for more spread out formations and deep shots keeping the safeties further back. That should allow him some space to break one.
Frustrating indeed.
How is it that he hasn't a clue but we do?? It's not hard to go back just a year or two ago and see Tyree getting loose on a number of plays and consistently gashing fronts with well-designed runs.
We're probably screaming one of the following:
"Just run a fucking QB sneak on 4th and inches!"
"Stop running that stupid delayed handoff on 3rd and inches!"
"Stop running that stupid delayed handoff on 4th and inches!"
"Quit running that damned 'scan' offense, and just snap the ball before time expires!"
"Argh! There's a wide receiver breaking wide open over the middle!"
"Why the Hell did you run Logan Diggs to the unblocked side of the field when we were driving quite nicely?!?"
And many others...
