Power 5 coach makes me think it will be Moorhead. That Moorhead took a shit coaching job when he certainly could have better jobs makes me think he was waiting for what he wanted to open up. It almost makes me suspect that he knew the ND job would open up after a year and he needed a job for a year in the meantime. That the article mentioned all the others but left his name out makes me all the more suspicious.

I'd say give him a call to get out of analyst mode from ABC/ESPN because his teams were high scoring dynamic offenses, he has ties to ND and has definitely recruited at an ELITE level.

Based on his resumé the since 2008 guy has had 3 offenses in the Top 25 scoring (2008, 2021, 2022) but has had more offenses rank in the 100s (4 times). Might wanna pipe down the hype on a guy who until the past 2 years (with a dynamic QB) had one offense in the Top 25 waaaaay back in 2008 at Utah with guess who?? Brian Johnson of the Eagles playing QB.
were ranked before he took over, after he left and then compare those ranking (before/during/after) vs offensive recruiting talent over same span?
I only ask because I wonder if Rees and Ludwig traded spots over same span, how do you think Rees would have done with Utah talent vs Ludwig with ND talent.
For example, I offer up our common opponents this season: USC and Stanford
Utah scored 43 and 47 on USC and 42 on Stanford and won all three match ups. With significantly more talent, ND scored 27 on USC and 14 on Stanford, both losses.
Aside from this, when I've watched Utah play Ludwig's play design and play calling appear to make things easier for his players (setting less talented players up for success) while when I watch our offense under Rees the design and play calling appear to make things more difficult, in most cases relying on our players to claw and scratch for everything usually only having success by out talenting opponents.

Tyler Horka of B&G writes Leftwitch makes no sense for ND.

candidate. I think we'd have a good shot at him if Freeman wants him. Ludwig is probably the best.
Which other candidates have drawn high praise from Arians and Brady?
experience, so who knows how he'll do. Clearly this season was far worse offensively than in years when Aryans had his hand in running the offense. They fell from 1st to 26th in scoring when Aryans left and Leftwich ran everything. 63 TD's with Aryans last year and then only 32 this year with Leftwich. That's why they fired him. He had Tom Brady and his offense was still terrible.
Aryans can praise his coaches as much as he'd like, which I tend to like in a HC, but that alone is not reason to hire an individual.
Success was Brady-Arians.

Your comments are ridiculous.
Why do Arians and Brady have high praises for the guy?
He’s had several good years by any objective standard.
Last year his center goes down for the season and his O line was a mess.
