Freeman still wants to play Big Boy football. If he can beat your brains out running the ball that's what he'll do. ND can recruit TE's & O-lineman and that will be the strength of the team regardless of who comes in.

I completely agree that Freeman will pride the team in its size and strength and physicality up front. And this is correct. Watch the OSU-GA game if you think it doesn't matter. If you can't belong up front on both sides of the ball, forget about it. It may not be enough by itself to win a NC, but that's where it starts.

ND needs to hire a top-notch OC and play caller that can produce an explosive offense, both in the air and on the ground. A one-dimensional ground game offense is basically what ND had last year and, well, no more please. Maybe your post was tongue in cheek?
QB and wide receiver are where the difference makers are. So you need that and the "Big Boys".
