Did the mesh make Hartman an average QB?? Considering Hartman was below average his first couple seasons.

One of the most interesting things to me will be how well Guidugli can develop the QB's. Perhaps

Buchner has come far closer to playing at his potential in a short time with Guidugli's help. That would be the hope.

Regardless, if Buchner wins the job and they keep running him as they always have, we'll need a second QB ready. I'll also be curious to see how Angelli develops under Guidugli.

Experience matters. So you would think a 6th year QB could hit a wide open receiver. But no.

Sampson says that Buchner stood out and for a pretty simple reason: “playbook experience matters.”

New system has nothing to do with Hartman's inabilities to hit wide open receivers.

Pretty cocky for someone who can't even figure out how to reply in the correct spot in the thread.

This doesn't surprise me. Buchner knows the offensive system while Hartman is learning it.

Some ND fans heads are so far up Hartman's ass that they can't see what is actually going on.

So Buchner will be ranked the 6th best QB when he wins the job. By Espn .

Exactly! If Buchner wasn't able to compete with a guy still learning the offense THAT would have

been concerning.

One of two things...Hartman wins job as expected and we have vastly better QB play than last season or Buchner raises his game to a level where he actually beats Hartman out in the Fall and we have vastly better QB play than last season.

This is a win win, I really have no idea why so many panties are twisted over the Hartman vs Buchner thing.

It obviously doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

I think the portal only allows one "free" transfer, not sure if that applies here.
