It would be interesting to see how many NFL seasons a college's draft picks account for by position
As they point out in the RB section, some of those draft picks turned out to be major busts while others had long and storied careers.
I don’t know that approach would help Notre Dame’s position
Though pretty sad that a team with that many draft picks (ND) hasn’t won a championship for 35 years.
I wasn't thinking about ND's position...
I just think it would be interesting and give a more accurate gauge of how well schools actually do in preparing guys for the NFL. There could be a disconnect between perception and reality with respect to talent evaluators and the stock they place in certain programs ability to cultivate particular types of talent, or they could be spot on. I just think it would be interesting to expand the data set a bit more.
