as great when you consider the number of games and years it took to set the records. Take most average or better QBs and give them that long and they'll set records.
His comp% was relatively low and his picks seem a bit high.
He's a good QB that will do well in a talented offense and pretty good in a soso offense. The talent around him will dictate his play more than he will elevate that talent. I'm not bashing the guy just looking at it objectively. For ND, he's a no brainer pick over Buchner.

...very little was intended to be gleaned from the game. But i have been to an awful lot of these, and a QB's accuracy, quick release, awareness, confidence, and leadership all can be seen. I think Hartman is the best QB that we have had this century talent wise...probably the best since Kevin McDougal (sorry Brady Quinn and Jimmy Clausen).
Looking forward to season already.Have made 46 trips to ND but never attended a B&G game.

...and hope that some of it sticks so others can see their "artwork" (which much of today's so-called art is).
The fact that he has Joe Milton above Hartman basically shows that his assertions are simply wild guesses, nothing more.
Yes, it's true that Milton was having a fine season, but he didn't finish out the season, and his other four years aren't exactly that inspiring.
light defenses up and our major gripe will be wishing we had more than one year from him.
