I'm glad for the guy that it wasn't a break of his leg. The way his ankle turned looked pretty sickening.

I was certain it was broken. Folded up under him. Glad it's not.

I'm glad it wasn't a break and that he has a bye week to heal up, although he'll probably not be

back for the next game at least and maybe more after that.

Of all the possible outcomes given how that play looked, this is obviously the best one.

Glad to hear it and wish him well. That looked gruesome last night.

when they didn’t have to cart him off, that was a positive sign

I totally agree. And Hartman waiting to see him was a beautiful scene.

I felt very bad for the young man. He played heroically.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

Certainly better than a broken leg but high ankle sprains take a long time to heal

Yeah, soft tissue damage has a lot more unknowns

At least with a broken bone, you know what the timeline is (and it's a very long timeline).

When it comes to soft tissue damage, there's so much in terms of uncertainty, and in Leonard's case, it could be a couple of weeks with no surgery (and back to full speed), or it could be 6 months with surgery.

Thread Level: 4

Agree, but watching that, hard to believe there wasn’t a fracture requiring surgery.
