Remember back in the day there were posters here who ragged on him constantly for lack of speed when
he played at ND.

Early in his career, he was constantly out of position. He improved.
Indecision makes your field speed seem far slower. He really did improve over his career though.

He improved once he was left in one position...as I recall he was moved around a lot early on..
which is when most of the criticism of him came. Then once they left him alone at Safety he was a baller for last year or two.
