Hartman is pretty short, not sure he sees or throws the shorter intermediate middle stuff well.

Angeli stands much taller in the pocket and is more comfortable seeing and making those throws.

We haven’t used the middle of the field in 15 years .

True, but Book wasn’t good at it and played 3 years. Hold on short. Pyne super short.

Kizer could do it. Coan did it some as well. Shorter QBs suck at the short to medium over the middle stuff, especially when the WRs scare nobody and the D is sending 7 and pushing the OL into the QBs grill. It takes a tall guy to stand in there, see over the lines and throw over the lines.
