2024 will be the last year for the college super seniors. That will cut down on the number of kids in the draft in 2025 and will likely cut down on the number of kids going into the draft since there will be less depth and most schools.
I don't know Cross/Mills pro prospects this year but my sense is they would both benefit from another year in college especially if they are picking up some NIL money.
Theoretically, someone could have played as a true frosh in 2020 (COVID exemption year), redshirted in 2021, and then played in 2022 through 2024, and still have a sixth year available due to that exemption.
Those numbers will probably be significantly fewer compared to what was seen in the past handful of years.
There will also be a few guys who have a 7th year available due to taking a medical redshirt year in addition to the conventional redshirt year and the COVID exemption, so there might be a small handful of such guys in 2026.

He had a great year and probably would be drafted. NFL requires defensive linemen that rotate in and there won’t be a drop off in production.
