perhaps Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz's take on QB transfers might give some insight into this season's disappointments and temper expectations about next year:
"Quarterbacks are not usually a one-year, plug-and-play position," Drinkwitz said. "Michael Penix, Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix all took a year. Look at Joe Burrow -- it took him two years, too. The one-year plug-and-play has not had a whole lot of success. I think some of these programs are going to be taking big risks."

Coaches past / present get it wrong quite a bit...rees prefferred buchner to jj mccarthy..the wr transfer from nw to virginia put up 1400 yards ..nd passed...eichenburgs brother thats an lb at ohio st..will howard lit up texas..george karloftis didnt get an offer because he didnt perform well in shorts at nd camp .
It's almost laughable ND is sucking on the balls of a QB who in his best year of CFB was 8-4 in the regular season with losses to Pitt, UNC, Georgia Tech, Kansas and had 3 point wins over Wake, and Boston College.
Hope I'm wrong but I'd take Sam Hartman 7 days a week before taking Riley Leonard.

Rising Juniors can get in on rare occasions. Any upperclassmen are a no-go.
