We wasted the 1998 season by only letting him carry the ball less than a dozen times.

If we had redshirted him, he would have had a very nice season in 2002 as the feature back. Yes, he would easily have beaten out Ryan Grant.

Even though Fisher was the superior back in 2001, Davie seemed to think he had to keep feeding Jones, even though he was dinged up much of the year.

Julius Jones was just on another level as far as skills and ability...he flashed that potential quite a bit as a PRO as well.
