Midwestern school with a beat your brains out running game, agressive defense and a good but not elite quarterback. A lot of people hate Harbough but he turned Stanford into a physical team. Next years Notre Dame team should be better than this years. Leonard is a better fit than Hartman and even with a lot of new guys on the O-line having a mobile QB helps. All the running backs have a year under their belt and Young is a stud. Last year a lot of unproven WR's had to play early. Thomas & Greathouse are really good possession players. Faison is a difference maker. Tyree was fast but not as quick. Faison can catch a ten yarder and split the seam. Golden has proven himself as a DC. He makes good players better by all the different looks he gives an offense. Freeman is in year three. The fiasco against OSU and the rotating O-lineman against Louisville should be chalked up to inexperience. He'll still make mistakes but all coaches do. Hartman and the freshman WR's brought in a lot of hype. This team has most of the pieces in place.
The upper level teams are basically mini-NFL teams.
I’m not saying your approach won’t work to get to the CFP but then you need an extra gear.
fairly accurate.
If this is done intentionally to troll..bravo, well done! If not you should really work on using more appropriate Subject Lines.
First off, don't capitalize ' "michigan" is who we should be compared to. ' {Which I would fight you to the death with butter knives over that statement} is a completely different statement than "while all true Irish fans should despise michigan, that is who our style of play on the field most resembles"
This is a debatable statement {as I would say we are more similar to Tosu style of play by design and intent} but it's not a detestable statement like yours was.
Comparing us to them in anything other than style of play on the field is highly offensive.

What makes you think that Leonard will be the starter?

on their way to the top with Dabo.
As it relates to Michigan, we got there twice on the strength of our program. Michigan started to be good when they started cheating.
