Moore as SCUM’s first ever black head coach provides a layer of protection against the NCAA who will have to do something to SCUM, although the bulk of the blame will fall on Harbaugh.

It seems they deserve the hammer but the NCAA A is such a hopeless, helpless organization, and new boss Baker has been as bad as Emmert

He obviously knew, as did Harbaugh and Minter. It seems like a very real possibility that the NCAA might be able to dig up evidence of his involvement.

They face Texas, Oregon, Washington, USC, and Ohio State. Two of those are road games as well. Given their draft and grad losses from this team, a coaching transition and a schedule that is vastly trickier than the one they coasted through this year, he is facing a major step backward in his first year. What happens in year two will be more indicative of what he brings as a new head coach.
actually paid to get out of their only two challenging games on the No conference sched (UCLA and Arkansas).
Cowards…now road warriors in their minds.

…with the exception of a coach he didn’t want to keep (who went to LSU with Kelly as ST coach and was let go after one year), and the exception of a punter who had graduated.
Moore has lost a top DC already…..the situations are somewhat analogous though Freeman had more experience, but the proof will be in the pudding.
UM also lost a lot to graduation and has an actual schedule to play next Fall for the first time in years with a new QB to break in….even a TP guy will have to start in Spring at earliest.

Next year will tell us a lot.

He does have several years as a position coach, and did help bring about a very good offensive line.
He was an actual OC for 2023 only. Previously, he had two years of co-OC experience. I understand Michigan wanting to keep the HC job for a "Michigan man," but my opinion here is that they settled for the easy way out.
He's going to have a hard time in 2024, since there's a lot of talent leaving that team for the NFL or the transfer portal, especially his top tier QB.
