He was no Keith Jackson for sure.
But I didn’t mind Jac and found him to be humorous at times. Him calling the plays didn’t diminish or enhance my game watching experience whatsoever. I don’t quite get the hatred

I believe his words were: "Can he do it? Yes, he can!"

I have trouble watching any game or event that hicks is calling. Golf is one of them.
Hopefully ND plays well and some games draw NBC's top broadcast team, ala last season.
I'm neutral on Hicks. I feel bad for Jac because there could be some really good years coming up for ND,

She'll kick his ass if he goes over the edge.
It won't be easy this year because the schedule is weak. He'll have to keep viewers interested in the games without sounding like a homer.

Way I can’t stand him. He makes him nantz tolerable
…..smart, drop dead gorgeous, and out of our league…..so you have to give Dan Hicks some credit.
Her dad was the president of the ABA at the time, I believe.

That was his brother, Austin.

Burmeister would have been a mighty fine play by play guy in the TV booth but I hate to lose him from the radio side. That's who I listen to for all home games. Paul and Ryan Harris make a really good broadcast team.
