This one is being reported as a stress fracture of his ankle that was just starting to develop.
Since they caught it early, it's very much treatable, and he should be back to full speed in about a month.
If I recall correctly, Tony Brooks had a similar kind of stress fracture during the the late part of the 1990 season. He tried playing through it during the Orange Bowl, and turned in a very underwhelming performance, even fumbling away once that made the difference in the game.
Between that and his academics, he sat out during the spring of 1991, and came back stronger than ever, putting together a very fine season in 1991.

That being said, i wonder how many more straws it will take to break the camel's back... Every QB gets banged up during practice, games, etc., and most of the time they simply shrug it off, but the human body, athlete or not, can only take so much at one time.
Wonder if we knew about all his medical issues?
Steve Angeli can run the whole offense, and if anything, will get a chance to prove that he's the best man for the job. If he beats out Leonard, I'm fine with this, since his arm is decently strong, he has good accuracy and timing, and can make all of the throws needed to exploit all areas of the field.
Regarding Minchey and Carr, with Guidugli guiding them, I see no reason why they wouldn't be making great strides in learning, and that at least one (probably both) would be ready to step in at a moment's notice.
This is a 180 turn from 2022, where all we had were Buchner, Pyne, and a true frosh in the way of Angeli (who would probably have been the best choice that year despite his being a freshman), all being tutored by Tommy Rees...
where we want to go. We also have two very talented younger QBs who are getting the work and experience they need to be great starting QBs as well. Couldn't ask for a better situation.

Though he clearly has a high opinion of himself
He keeps saying that he doesn't want to see my postings, yet he won't use the ignore feature.
Again, I feel sorry for the people around you, that they have to tolerate your highhorse attitude. You need help.
but he does know a lot about ND football...
Still, I don't see you as antagonistic. If anything, I respect you.
There's a difference between a statement said in the middle of a heated moment, versus consistent lack of control.
The former happens to everyone, and can be discarded as locker room trash talk. The latter indicates that someone has a problem.

Steve Angeli faced a pretty good defense in the Sun Bowl (despite the half dozen opt-outs) , and that was without most of the WR corps, the 1st string TE, the 1st string RB, as well as without our two starting tackles.
He did a fine job, and looked very polished standing in the pocket. He showed patience and read the receiver routes very well, while using the entire field. The way he called the pass protection audibles was pretty good.
If he can do that in a bowl game against a decent team, then I'm pretty sure he'd do just fine after a spring and fall camp as well.
The other team was missing half their defense
Leave it to you to make it out to be something it wasn’t. But the way Leonard is going we better hope Angeli is decent. Leonard is incredibly injury prone obviously.
I'm honored.
Weren't you supposed to use the ignore feature earlier?

It's entirely up to you to exhibit some self-control, whether it means not being antagonistic on this forum, or simply using the ignore feature.
Has nothing to do with being obsessed with you, but go ahead and continue deflecting. You’re just a prick.
Think about it for a minute... You're the one who can't control his language, and the one who attacks people when he doesn't agree with what they post.
It's clearly obvious that you have an issue, and need help. Get it somewhere for your own sake.
