During the entire Brian Kelly era, there was always at least one position group that was a glaring weakness from a talent plus depth perspective. Offensive line would be the closest right now, but I'm not really that concerned about it.
BTW, Pyne/Buchner would be vying for 5th string at QB right now.

Since the ‘56 NY Giants, LOL. No one knows who the head coach was, but they remember the coordinators, Vince and Tom
and when the team stunk he had the best line. "Ernie Wheelwright 24 years old, he has a son 8 years old, he does everything early."

going early in the year.
....strengths, weakneses, and tendencies. You can count on Elko coming up with blitz & coverage packages to exploit that advantage he will have.

...I was a little worried about the pass rush but that seems very well answered with both quality and depth. I am still scared about Leonard though - he's never done what we seem to want him to do: throw the ball in a high octane offense. (Yes, use his legs too, but A&M is very likely to stack the box and dare him to throw - can he do it??? If he can, it's going to be an exciting season.)
The coaching staff we have we are in a very good spot. We need to have a very good season to keep the momentum building. We have more talent depth and speed by far on this roster. And the QB position is solid. We could even lose a key olayer or 2 and a position coach and still be fine if freeman and the 2 coordinators are around for a bit.
It seems like the school admin is behind the program or at least the new AD is.
Now let’s get in and win 1 or 2 games in the playoff at least!
