Paul Longo's program wasn't very good at keeping the players healthy, and by that time, he was all but AWOL due to his terrible health. They kept that under wraps in 2015, but in 2016, it was painfully evident that he hadn't physically been there on a regular basis in quite a while, probably dating back to 2014. Even then, the team's fitness wasn't exactly at its pinnacle, seeing how we were down to starting 4th string front seven players.
His assistants weren't very good either, trying to implement that badly flawed program with even less experience.
If Prosise had someone like Matt Balis watching over him, I think he would easily have been even better, and not gotten banged up as badly that year.
That being said, it was nice to see that a true freshman in the way of Josh Adams stepped up to the plate in his absence.
