Link: Marcus Freeman Has Elevated Notre Dame's Quarterback Recruiting
If Leonard is the starter Freeman goes into year four with none of his recruits getting any experience. Transfers need to come in with two years left to play so your not starting from square one every year.

went against to win these recruits.
And he has gone in successfully to deepSEC territory to do it….
MS and Fla where the schools have been feeders to the SEC.
Freeman's average for four years is 101, a huge improvement but still it was a low bar.
a guy with 2+ years of HC experience, who hasn't had big time success on the field yet, is smashing the glass ceiling the guy with 480 years of HC experience said was a barrier here.
It's not unreasonable to believe that once he starts having big time results on the field the recruiting can be taken to an even higher level.
The future looks bright. I need to get some new sunglasses.
Tenure we need to develop them as well. We have a great staff to do it.
as you and others have previously reported While we certainly haven't been lead by Montana or Theismann, ND has won a lot of football games. Guys like Golson. Rees , Kizer, Book, Quinn haven't been chopped! liver.
And 9.5 his last ten
Yeah, it sucked pretty badly

That’s why at 3 1/2 losses per season so far jury still out on MF. Recruiting has improved significantly. W-L record not so much.

but b@g, burlage, once wrote that book is NDs best ever.
my apology if im misinterpreting you.
didn't make much sense to include Quinn unless you want to add Jarious Jackson, Rick Mirer, Steve Beuerlein, Joe Montana, etc..
a ty recruit but did play for Weis in 2005 and06 I believe;
Kelly did many good things, but in his 12 years Ian Book is really his only QB success story.
He had a few highly regarded QB recruits in his time but they were sporadic at best in terms of consistency. This meant you were 100% reliant on a single recruit to 'hit' or you were going to have QB problems.
Freeman (and staff) QB recruits are all highly regarded and stacked right on top of each other, so you aren't relying on "one" guy to hit or you're screwed...there are multiple candidates, which is how big time programs recruit QBs.
The difference really is night and day between Kelly vs now.
but the names listed plus possible names you listed are all decent QBs
I . just think QB play has been overblown

has been as bad as portrayed
