Aiden Gobaira and Tyson Ford placed on medical scholarship

Glad to see that these two guys can finish their ND degrees.

It makes sense why they weren't on the projected depth charts that Rivals released a couple of weeks ago. That, plus the younger talent is going to be pushing for PT.

Best of luck to them.

The university was very kind to Ford. Many teams & coaches would have simply cut him.

Certainly, now that players are being paid.

I know Aiden had injury setbacks, I wasn’t aware Tyson was going through an injury

Doesn’t mention an injury, sounds like he doesn’t want to play football anymore

Very true. Not sure any of that is new since he started at ND.

Wish the kid well.

If he has no intention of playing elsewhere and his condition is causing a problem, think the school owes it to these guys to grant them a medical scholarship.

That would be a weird reason for a medical scholarship wouldn't it?

He wants to stay in school, he doesn’t have money, doesn’t qualify for merit awards, so it’s a way for the staff to show how they take care of everyone once they’re at ND

This isn’t the first time, I remember years back they did this during a staff change to some project kids and one transferred after the medical scholarship and joined his new schools team right away
