I am surprised, however, that no one was willing to bring him on as a QB coach. Regardless of his failures you think someone would have taken the chance given his past work.
He seemed pretty happy with what he was doing on Sirius / XM.
If anything, he was far more content to see Charlie Weis Jr. grow up and thrive as an OC. I'm not sure he'd even want to get back into coaching again, since he's close to 70 years old as it is.
