I wouldn't put the blame on Uiagaleili, since he did what he could given the line's poor performance, and completed over 2/3 of his passes. Given the slick field, I can see why they preferred the short passing game, but by not stretching the field vertically, they let the GT defense squat in a medium zone.
One thing for certain, was that their o-line didn't do a good job of opening up running lanes.
The FSU d-line kept getting blown back on running plays. Even if you take away GT's 36 yard run from their RB, they were still grinding out about 4 yards a carry. The starting d-line are all supposed to be NFL draft picks, and to get blown back like that by what was supposed to be a mediocre GT o-line must have been embarrassing.
Anyone can have a bad day, especially when your opposition has about as good of a day as they can have, but even then, with this differential in talent, it shouldn't have come down to hoping that they'd miss a last second field goal.
