.....to start in such an important game and hostile environment?? Let's hope they can get it done......as far as veterans Baker, Coogan & Spindler, they ought to be embarrassed of themselves and strongly consider the transfer portal to a MAC school.

Maybe you should consider transferring to a MAC level message board.

Could it be that under Joe Rudolph's recruiting and guidance, that he recruited and developed a couple of real gems?
I trust Coach Rudolph to put the best men for the job out there. If that means playing a highly underrated true freshman and a true sophomore because they outplayed the veterans, then so be it.
The veterans have nothing to be ashamed about, especially since Spindler was turning into a pretty solid starter until he got hurt.
To put it this way, would you be complaining about Aaron Taylor seizing a starting guard spot in 1991 as a true sophomore, when there were plenty of Joe Moore-coached veterans available to play guard?
The best players should play, simple as that.

Then you have to believe that Knapp is simply better than Baker and Pendleton is simply better than Spindler/Coogan.
This is the perspective I choose to take until the game starts and we find out what we have.
