Given ND's weak remaining schedule they have to go 10-0, beating USC to make the playoffs.

I'm not apologizing for that...it's still a bad comparison

Honest thoughts on Marcus now?
Respect what you have to say because you are objective and don’t drink the KoolAid.
This is a huge disappointment and inexcusable. This is why everyone makes fun of us. Can you imagine the choruses of overrated now? This could be as bad as we’ve seen since Faust

So much to say, so few words can express it..
I don't want to be the one to doom a guy for one terrible loss, but it's so hard for me to see him really every recovering from this one...29 point favorites at home!
This season could go really South from here, but even if it doesn't I think his days are numbered now.
Weather it's this year, or next year, or the year after, it's clear he ain't it and we need to start thinking about replacements...who ALREADY have HC experience.

I know I’ve been one of the biggest naysayers but I honestly thought we had turned the corner
This year. I am very disappointed and hope that we can turn this around. The talent is there. It’s very hard to comprehend and as a result it’s not a good luck for Marcus.

I was just trying to give a guy we shouldn't have hired support/fair shake/time to learn...
but my confidence in him being able to make the necessary improvement is definitely shaken.
I also thought this might be the year we turned the corner and I'm very disappointed.
I've been trying to monitor his trajectory vs predecessors, knowing this year would likely be the fork in the road, one way or the other.

To be specific, I wasn't against "Marcus Freeman"...I was against even considering ANYONE without..
Prior HC experience.

They will lose to Purdue.

The talking heads sure got ND wrong: playoffs with second round loss.

They'd have to win every game decisively. The team that played today can't do that. Start Carr
