Michigan vs Texas - both of their QBs made RL look like a JV player. Arm strength was noticeably better by light years. Granted they had some time to throw, but it wasn't a lot of time.
I saw others but Just don't have the energy to document them. This game came down to what I've been talking about for years. An inferior team comes in FIRED up to play the Irish and if you are not as fired up, if you think you only have to show up...well you see the result.
Remember Holtz when the Irish played an inferior team? He was a freaking maniac on the sidelines. Rarely did the Irish lose to an inferior team during his days from what I remember. This comes down to desire, intensity, mental preparation. Figure it out.
Nothing like this though. Most of his were also later when he didn’t have his former overwhelming talent.
