Seriously, when I heard that Freeman is going to keep Riley for the Purdue Game, I realized his career at ND is over. he's certainly a nice man, but this is BIG time college football and Head coaches can't be a nice guy. If we wanted a nice guy, we could have taken Clay Helton (known as "HUGS") from USC. Then again, Nick Saban isn't at Alabama anymore, maybe he can come in and take over. He's retired, got all the money he wants/need, and this might be a 'fun' challenge. The good news, no matter what, I will continue to do as my grandmother taught me as a child: "Pray that no-one gets hurt and that everyone (on ND) plays their best". I think my granny should have added: "the coaches ding their best" as well. OK, throw your empty's

I don't disagree with the decision to start Leonard. But if, say, the offense is sputtering through midway 2nd quarter, only and idiot wouldn't change QBs.
for Hurts and vice versa.
tenure as head coach of the Hurricanes.
I hope we're not going to play the "how about X as head coach" game again already. If Freeman doesn't get at least 5 years it won't be because of failure on the field.
they often can't get off the field were shredded for over 30 points last yr. by Louisville and Clemson plus we need an offensive mastermind..
