6 yards …. 5 yards … 8 yards … 11 yards … 4 yards …. 7 yards … and a cloud of dust.
Besides keeping the Irish Defense fresh and off the field, such drives mentally break the opponent into submission.
It all starts with the offensive line.

We are miserable at that
The line has to be able to do it and they are young . Our great runs this year have been due to
great backs who can cut on a dime, break tackles, hurdle tackles, actually keep their feet enough to score, and have enough speed to finish the run. Love gets threw very small holes somehow and Price is deadly with a little space. Unfortunately that is difficult to do if the defense stacks the line. The passing game must give us something.
Move the chains. The #1 priority for a QB. Can you lead the team to do this consistently?
