Napier will be the first major coach fired
The on the field performance is terrible as it is, but the straw that breaks the camel's back is what goes on off the field.
He and the Florida boosters botched the Jaden Rashada NIL deal last year, and will probably lose in court, now that Rashada is suing them for breach of contract. They had promised him almost 14 million dollars, as opposed to Miami's 9.5 million. I'm pretty sure that a lot of Florida faithful were livid at having lost a prime prospect.
I thought that they'd be at least a 10 win team, and that after the pretty good year that DJ Uiagaleili had with Oregon State, I believed he'd be ready to finally break out and have a nice season.
He looks like a deflated man out there playing without any mojo / moxie, and seems slow on his feet. The talent around him isn't very good, but as a 5th year senior with all of that experience, he should be the man to take charge and command the team. Instead, he slumps over, and isn't providing any sparks, except for the FSU fans who want his head on a stick.
hit the portal so much that I can’t imagine there’s much chemistry in the locker room
DJ doesn't know how to play real football.
I am sure the boosters at FSU who paid his NIL are kicking themselves.
