Lifelong ND ticket holders might balk at this if ND tried it.

Might ruin the purity of it for the student athlete.

Money is where this train has always gone and now it’s including the players in a ‘legal’ way.

Good luck getting off and surviving.

The lifelong ticket holders seem to be made up mostly of the fans that are quiet all game.

It will soon be nothing more than a true minor league for the NFL.
At that point I loose almost all interest in it and considerate at the level of minor league baseball.

If I have nothing else to do and it’s close by and cheap I might go to a game or two a year….but probably win watch on tv anymore….if it’s even broadcast in another 10-20 years.

the cheapest season ticket for home football games -- including taxes, the required contribution and talent fee -- will cost $453.75 in the family section, which is in the upper deck.

Not sure what NDis getting these days. We dropped our seats after the Crossroads increases. But with 7 home games at UT, that’s only about $70, including fees and donation.

ND has been doing this for awhile with minimum “donations” for season tickets.

Might be the line they don’t cross. We’ll see…

Was that money used to pay athletes? That was a way of raising more money for general use right?

Unless UT gets massive blowback, this will become the norm across NCAA
