1. Freeman seems like such a 'rah rah' guy about how great his team in the post-games. You never saw that from Saban; if Bama sucked, he said "we sucked."
2. Special teams are all terrible, absolutely terrible. I didn't realize how important Brian Mason was to ND footbal.

Fumbled punt catches, several penalties on the same offensive lineman, overthrowing WR’s.

It’s more than just coaching, if those guys can be replaced by someone that is ready to step up, then put them on the bench.

FWIW, Leonard is a good runner but at some point the Irish need a QB that can pass or else they’ll relive the NIU game all over again.
