team's play.
My questions:
1. Is he the only dissenting voice?
2. Did he ever want a running QB?
3. Does he not have a say?
4. Is he the next scapegoat like Stuckey?
It's really odd given we heard a lot from him and about him in the past, but now you wouldn't even know he's a coach on the staff or that we have a QB coach.
And is likely to cost ND more losses.
Therefore, the whole problem is the stubbornness of Freeman to insist Leonard play.
I bring up Golden's name because my work colleague who played for Ohio State said the D coordinator is also involved in giving his perspective of how the offense is operating.
regarding the quarterbacks. They see the deficiencies of Leonard's passing game and are proactively working to:
1. Improve Leonard's passing
2. Get Angeli ready to lead the team if necessary
3. Get Minchey ready to lead the team if necessary
4. Get Carr ready to lead the team if necessary
5. Consider situational dual qb use
They know the strengths and the weaknesses of all the options better than us because they see their performance in every practice.
You think we know Minchey and Carr have higher ceilings, but they don't?
I trust the coaches will know when/if to make a change.
I've never bought the "the coaches see them in practice every day and know what's best" mantra
And if the entire coaching staff really thinks Leonard is the best bet, that's a serious indictment.
