not likely start as a SR,a nd the other Fr is really good too.
I wish nothing but the best for Jaden Mickey. I understand why he is choosing to do this, and he is finishing his degree before transferring. He will always be Irish to me.
He mentioned in a stadium jumbotron segment how he really wants to make it into the NFL. The thing that was glaringly apparent was that he does not turn his head to find the ball. The reason for that is not because he doesn't know that, it's because he was struggling just to be in position to make a play.
Miami Ohio has one good wr, but Jaden has this issue against average wr's also. The best way to get past that (if possible) is reps, and he is going to find less of those at ND. I think that the ND degree is going to be very useful to him, but I hope it's just gravy for him.

But Moore and Hobbs are definitely ascending and he's not beating out Gray. There was someone else listed ahead of him, Tucker maybe. Regardless, good luck to him.
That scholly should be used for someone playing ND football and I'm sure there are plenty of walk-ons (and their parents) that could use the aid.

how would him playing somewhere else help him deal with his mom's passing better?

Just gotten out of hand. Quitting mid season should require a mandatory 1 year sit out after transferring. This is like free agency and it almost completely favors the player.
The transfer portal creates the need to use the transfer port to fill the spots when players do this. Insane.
If the players get paid as it looks like they will there needs to be some contracts. Imagine if this crap happened in pro league. Oh wait they can’t since they have a contract.
That, plus the true freshmen are looking very promising.
I can't blame his making this choice, since the man wants to play, and he'll have his degree in hand when he leaves.
To me this is far worse than sitting out a bowl game.
He's staying in school and getting his ND degree. His mother died from cancer in December.
Really, it's nobody's business but his,
and Mickey is chilling on the shelf collecting his ND degree while saving his eligibility to go play for someone else.
He wanted out last spring. Hardly a trend.
